A logistics operation lacked real-time visibility into fleet location and delivery status, forcing dispatchers to rely on phone calls and manual updates.

Strategy

We approached this as an event-driven system design problem — prioritizing reliable real-time data ingestion and a dispatcher-facing interface built around operational decision-making.

Solution

A real-time tracking dashboard built on an event-driven architecture, ingesting location data continuously and surfacing delivery status, delays and routing recommendations to dispatchers.

Outcome

This concept illustrates how event-driven architecture and a focused operational interface can give dispatch teams real-time visibility they previously had to reconstruct manually.
